I don't buy the one about honey for blemishes. Honey tends to be free of bacteria but only because of low water content, when stored in a jar. Applied to skin as a film or dab tho, it will quickly lose that advantage. It's not "antibacterial" per se.

Yep, in the army we use to fill a drip pan full of antifreeze and stand bare foot in it after we came back from 30 days in the field. Kills the athletes foot. Sure EPA would have had a cow.
